We also welcome buyers to the show through as WTM Buyers’ Club members or Hosted Buyers. Qualified as the key buyers in the industry these visitors are committed to doing their business at our event.
We work hard to make sure that you have the opportunity to meet the right buyers for you, so in addition to our recommendations we also hold networking events specifically for exhibitors to do this.
There are two buyer speed networking sessions during WTM Africa. In these sessions, the buyers will be seated and split according to the region and product interests. Each meeting lasts five minutes providing you with the opportunity to introduce yourself and exchange business cards. This is one of the most popular sessions at WTM Africa. Many exhibitors generate substantial business leads at these sessions.
Raising your profile or awareness in your brand may be important to you and there is certainly that opportunity at WTM Africa. Over 150 members of the press and travel bloggers from South Africa and other countries of the world come to WTM Africa each year to report on the latest stories and keep up to date with the industry.
Additionally, speed networking with the media is a brand new initiative that we will be launching at this year’s WTM Africa. On Wednesday 19 April, between 17:00-18:00, the media will be stationed in the Press Conference Theatre in order to connect, and share information. This is a great platform for your organisation to speak directly to all of our media partners.
