DHA has confirmed during a media briefing on February 5 that the short-term recommended changes to the immigration regulations, which came into effect in June 2014, have been completed.

Passengers are urged not to panic, and merely to enquire with reliable sources before confirming their travel plans. There are 47 countries in continental Africa and currently the WHO are reporting only four that have been affected. Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. At present, no cases have been confirmed anywhere else in the world outside these four countries. The WHO have also shared information on the low-risk of Ebola transmission in air travel.
