Who can apply?

  • Step 1 – Application

    Please complete the online application form. Once submitted the WTM Africa team will contact you with further details.

    Step 2 – Selection process

    Successful applicants will be invited to make appointment preferences with exhibitors they wish to meet.

  • Step 3 – Matching process

    The team will match your exhibitor preferences to generate a personalised appointment diary.

    Step 4 – Self-Scheduled Appointments (SSA)

    Once the mutual matching process is complete, you will be able to use the online appointment diary to contact exhibitors directly to arrange Self-Scheduled Appointments (SSA).

  • Who can apply?

    Hosted Buyers must meet WTM Africa's qualification criteria and are reviewed against the following requirements:

    • You should be a senior travel industry professional with direct purchasing and contracting authority
    • That you are well acquainted with and are already buying product on the African continent and Indian Ocean Islands
    • An interest in international product off the African continent
    • An annual budget of consolidated spend for Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands
  • References from new or emerging hosted buyers will be requested
