  • INVESTING IN THE AFRICAN TOURISM VALUE CHAIN

    The African Tourism Investment Summit 2020 (ATIS) will be held on the 7 & 8 April, at the CTICC, in Cape Town, South Africa in partnership with African Business Group (ABG). Led by industry experts, government and investors in-depth knowledge, investment trends and economic development opportunities across Africa’s tourism value chain will be explored; encouraging cross border dialogue with sessions designed to bring together the public and private sector to discuss projects and finance initiatives, explore Africa’s innovative tourism sector, share good practice, meet stakeholders and prospective partners and generate business opportunities across the continent.

  • The African Tourism Investment Summit will explore in lateral sectors contributing to the growth of Africa’s tourism industry, and include interactive break-away sessions ensuring high level discussions and deal-room opportunities for engagement with policy makers and investment professionals from around the globe. Tourism is an important driver of economic growth around the world and plays a significant role in unlocking investment opportunities in Africa. As Africa unwraps its continent-wide free trade agreement, travel and tourism is poised to expand and accelerate investment opportunities for the continent.

One of six shows, WTM Africa is no exception, connecting hosted buyers, media, investors,, trade visitors and industry specialists. Exclusive pre-scheduled appointments, on-site networking, evening functions and invited visitors; will come together, connecting travel expertise and professionals for inbound and outbound Africa travel and tourism markets.
