WTM Buyers' Club

  • What is the WTM Buyers’ Club?

Our world-renowned WTM Buyers’ Club will form a core part of WTM Africa. Buyers Club Buyers are primarily tour operators, travel agents, wholesalers and private travel arrangers with purchasing power and have the reputation for generating genuine business leads.

If you meet our criteria, you will automatically receive a Buyers Club Buyer status when you register for WTM Africa 2019. This will give you a distinctive badge allowing exhibitors to see at a glance that you are someone wanting to do business.

  • WTM Buyers Club Buyer status is exclusively for pre-qualified travel industry professionals and as well as the recognition, Buyer’s Club membership comes with a number of fantastic benefits:

    • Access to our WTM Buyers’ Club Lounge
    • Online diary where you can arrange your meetings with exhibitors prior to the event
    • Invitation to attend networking events
    • Free pre-scheduled appointments system with exhibitors
    • Speed networking sessions

Participation in the speed networking sessions is one of the most popular benefits of membership. These highly engaging and popular events bring together exhibitors and senior buyers during two sessions. The sessions help to broker connections and business opportunities between buyers and exhibitors, matched on purchasing requirements.

The two 90 minute sessions take place on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th April. Buyers are seated, with exhibitors invited to hold five minute mini-meetings with the buyers of their choice, based on regional and product purchasing requirements.

Buyers are grouped and colour matched to the regions that they most wish to buy from. Foundations for new contacts are agreed and long term business partnerships formed.
